OK, it was only a weekend away. But for the first time in years, Lorna & I had a weekend away with friends, and just chilled out.
It felt so very good, like life is slowly returning to something resembling normal after Mum's illness. Life moves on. And it's becoming enjoyable again.
I'm back from my hols. We stayed in a lovely place:

And now I'm back in London, with my batteries recharged and ready to go.
It all seems so long ago now…
So, I'm not long back from Devon, where we were staying as guests of Rev Stan and Mosh, and am now busy working through my photos. The really juicy ones are still to come, but here's some from a walk from Malborough to Salcombe:

The long slog home has not proved too bad so far. Finally found an open pub for a spot of lunch.
We're back in the Uk. Horrible journey. More later.
So, here I am, sat with the family, having lunch in a French restaurant. It was worth driving through the torrential rain yesterday.
